The Dynamics of Ideas about the Roles of the Client, Therapist, Supervisor and Coach in the Learning Process of Gestalt Therapy.

This small study is devoted to purely psychological issues, in particular to the issues of professional identity of participants in training programs in gestalt therapy. Those who came across the topic are familiar with the generally accepted hierarchy of participants in the psychotherapeutic and educational process: clients, therapists, supervisors and coaches.

The study aimed at identifying the way how the ideas about these roles of those who undergo different stages of training in Gestalt therapy are changing. In the course of the study, some problematic points were identified that are useful to be aware of both for the participants of these training programs and for their organizers and teachers.
